Chess

In the afternoon A few classes came to the hall to play chess. A man was speaking to us about chess and all of the tricks and the maths of it. He taught us all pf the names of the pieces. We learnt the history of chess and how England changed the game up a bit.

After we had learnt a lot about chess we got into pairs and played our own game of chess.
My buddy was Stella and we go a bit confused ??                                                              

I Remember Pome

                     

My Adventures at camp Remember the sound of the splashes as the kids plummeted into the water hole, Remember feeling nervous as you walked across the noses of the kayaks, That was camp Remember smelling the dust as the air rifles zoomed to hit the target, Remember seeing the arrow aiming right in the center of the target, That was camp Remember the thought that the harness was going to come off making you hit the ground, Thud, Do you Remember the tension on your hands as you were swinging across  the rope swing on the confidence course That was camp Ella

Carey Camp Day 1

On Wednesday the 18th room 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 went to Carey camp. On the way there the bus stopped at a bush and so we went on a lovely bush walk. After we had done the amazing bush walk we settled down on the grass and ate our lunch, yum yum. As soon as we started to get full we hopped back into the bus zoomed all the way to camp. When we arrived all of our bags were waiting outside for us but before we gathered them we all went to the hall and learnt  all about camp and what were the rules were. Finally we went back outside to gather our bags, so we could take them back to our cabins and dorms and set up our beds. "Few, I have  set my bed up".  As soon as the hooter went I went outside and lined up to go and get my afternoon tea, afternoon tea was delicious, cookies and juice. A wile later the hooter went again so we lined up outside and set of to our first activity. My first activity was Archery! My group walked of the Archery range to get shooting. Later... "Yay its my go to shoot some arrows," "oh that was so close to the center. Now it is time to make my own bow:

As soon as to hooter went again that meant that our time was up for Archery.

Back in our dorm we were getting ready for dinner, we were all putting lovely clothes on for our first dinner at camp in 2015. There it was the hooter went again so we lined up in our group to try and be the firs group to dinner.

Finally was have been chosen to go and gather our dinner, there was so much to choose from so I gathered what I wanted then went back to my seat to eat up, Yummy Nachos. Now it is time for our dessert, Yay chocolate moose.

Dinner and dessert had all cleared away now so room 1&2 got changed into warm clothes then went down to the grass to play a game of capacitor the flag. Once we hade played couple of games we set of to do a walk in the bushes, by now it was dark so we could not see were we were going, but we hade a rope to hold on to. There were adults jumping out from behind the trees trying to scare us. Finally we have finished the scary walk now it is time to settle down and sing songs well eating Marshmallows.
